Combo Guard

Evaluation:
The only 2024 at the DFW Camp all 4 College Coaches projected at the higher levels (NCAA D2/LM D1). Uriah is an explosive athlete, shoots it with range, and plays with great pace. Just has that look of a player about to blow up after the July Live Periods. Outside of the coaching staff, Uriah was the one I listed with the highest ceiling if he continues to work on all facets of his game. I’ve discovered players like Uriah last year that ended up with NCAA D2/LM Offers, but those players continued to grow their game and had big time Sr Seasons. I can see Uriah doing the same in 23-24 so get on him early as his stock will only rise. High IQ Combo Guard with size, length, and athleticism that could really increase his stock this Summer heading into his Sr Season. Gian
Carlo
2024
Combo Guard
Height:
6'1
152
Weight:

Evaluation:
Gian doesn't pass the eye test walking in the door, but he passes the ‘can play’ test if you get a more in-depth look like you do at UC Exposure Camps. 2 College Coaches listed him as a small college Combo, scores it at all 3 levels, and just finds ways to put points on the board. Scores it in bunches and uses his body well in the paint to shield off bigger guards, finish plays, or draw fouls. Gian has a very quick first step and gets to the paint at will making plays for himself of finds the open man. Not surprised that he was voted Offensive POY, the kid can flat out score it and scores it at all 3 levels. Plays with a chip that offsets being a little undersized, and is always in attack mode without getting out of control. Won’t stand out at big showcases or select tourneys, but keep him on your Radar as I can see Gian putting up big numbers next year at Belton HS. One to track and add him to your list of Elite Camp invites as you will get a much better look at his talent.

Kensington
Colston
2024
Combo Guard
Height:
6'1
173
Weight:
Evaluation:
The consistent theme across the board from the college coaches on staff when it came to Kensington’s assessment was 3 things: Competitive, Leader, Playmaker. Played with great energy from the opening drills to the 5 on 5 Tourney leading his team to a W in the ‘Top Prospect’ Title Game. Showed the ability to knock down open 3s, but is at his best making plays off the bounce and going downhill in transition. Attacks the paint, finishes plays in traffic, and has a high basketball IQ so understands when to pass it or score it when he draws the 2nd line of defense. It’s been a year since I’ve evaluated Kensington, and he has grown his game, gotten physically stronger, and plays with a certain confidence with the ball in his hands that makes everyone better. Plays with great energy and showcased leadership traits throughout the Camp that you look for in lead guards. Has college ready size and is a tough matchup in PnR action with his ability to pass, shoot or drive it. Having said that, what won the coaches over and what stood out the most to me was this kids motor. You can’t fake toughness, and outside of being a scholarship level talent, this kid is ‘TOUGH’. Heading into his Senior Season, I can see Kensington leading Granbury on a deep playoff run while putting up scholarship level numbers. D2 Programs should already be recruiting this kid, as he is set to do big things this year and will continue to move up college coaches boards.

Corbin
Dilday
2024
Forward
Height:
6'8
170
Weight:

Evaluation:
Offensively, Corbin is a skilled passer for a big man, makes the easy play, and finds the open man within the flow of the Offense. Has good hands in the paint and does a good job on the catch of reading
the D. With his ability to pass it and shoot it at his size, you must add him to your list of recruits if you need a stretch 4 or run some high low action. Runs the floor like a guard, knows when to pass and when to score taking what the D gives him, and does a great job of finding the open man when doubled teamed down low.
However, his best position at the next level with his skill set would be in the High Post setting ball screens and diving to the block in situations. Needs to get stronger and be more active on the glass to reach his highest potential Offer, but the foundation, size and skill set are there with time on his side.
Projected Levels: NCAA D3+ / NAIA possibly higher if he puts up big numbers this Season

Dylan
Felcman
2024
Point Guard
Height:
6'0

Weight:
Evaluation:
Dylan doesn’t necessarily pass the eye test walking in the door, but he passes the ‘can play’ test! Our small group settings give all campers a real shot to increase their stock with College Coaches on staff as prospects get a more in-depth assessment to showcase their talents. Dylan did just that and showcased that he could score it and scores it at all 3 levels. Offensively Gifted Combo who started the day off by winning the skills challenge falling 1 basket short in the finals of the all time high score (59-He scored a 58), and as the day went on he showed that he could flat out pass the ball as well. High IQ prospect who plays with pace and knows when to shoot, pass or drive it. Not a lot of flash, just a lot of production when Dylan has the ball in his has the ball in his hands. He might be the new kid on the block at St. Thomas when school begins, but I predict by 2nd Semester his talent will start to shine and he will be one of the leaders filling up the stat sheet for one of the top private school programs in the Region. Sleeper to get on early.

Cade
Hartley
2024
Combo Guard
Height:

Evaluation:
2 x All-District Player who is set to join the 1000pt Club this year at Glenn HS. Cade showed the ability to score it at all 3 levels, he’s a tough matchup in PnR situations with his ability to shoot the 3pt shot, and took bigger forwards off the bounce finishing through contact at the rim. Not sure why he doesn’t already have NCAA D2 Offers, but I predict after the July Live Periods he will have visits set up at that level with his size, skill set, and competitive toughness. Only 2 prospects at the Houston Camp were listed by all 4 coaches on staff as full ride talents, and Cade was one of them. NCAA D2+/LM D1 Prospect who is a great fit as a Pick and Pop stretch 4 that could play some 3 at the next level as well with his ability to put the ball on the floor and skill set. Made some big time passes in traffic for a SF, finished above the rim, and knocked down several 3’s in pick and roll situations. He must dedicate himself in the weight room this offseason, and rebound it at a higher level to start gaining interest from NCAA D1 Programs but Cade has time on his side to move onto D1 Boards. Right now NCAA D2+ No Brainer with room to grow. If you set a lot of ball screens and are looking for a Stretch 4 in the 2024 class, don't wait to research this kid. He's flying under the radar and it's only a matter of time before his recruitment picks up!

Thomas
Hunt
2024
2 Guard
Height:
6'6
185
Weight:
Evaluation:
Thomas is an intriguing big man with the foundation, size, and skill set that makes him one to follow heading into his Sr Season. I can see him getting better and better the way he soaked up coaching, got tougher as the camp went on, and the effort he displayed on both ends. I wouldn’t use the word project with Thomas, but I will say his best is clearly in front of him and only time will tell what level he performs at next year. Plays bigger then 6’6, battles in the paint for position, has good hands, and finishes plays around the rim. Needs to continue to work on his High Post Game, get stronger this off-season, and just focus on the process of improving in all facets over gaining exposure and it will his recruitment will take care of itself in the long run. With his approach, attitude, effort and size Thomas could make a big leap the next 6-9 months and head into the Spring Semester on several College Coaches Boards. What level will be 100% up to Thomas and how much he grows his Game, but the tools and foundation are there to turn interest into Offers down the stretch.
Projected Levels: D2 JUCO / NCAA D3+ / NAIA possibly higher based on what kind of numbers he puts up this year on a very good Trinity Christian Team

Keion
Irvin
2024
Playmaker
Height:
6'4
189
Weight:
Evaluation:
Keion is coming off a season where he was a big piece of the puzzle on a very good Houston Westbrook Team. He will head into his Senior Season with a much bigger role, which from all indicators at the Houston Camp he is ready to take on. Versatile 6’4 Playmaker that can play the 2-4 on Offense and can guard the 2-4 on Defense. Keion is at his best in the open court playing downhill, or making plays off the bounce in the half court. Stays in attack mode and finishes through contact in the paint. Really intriguing prospect with a big upside, took coaching well at the camp, and is set to have a breakthrough Senior Season at Beaumont Westbrook.

Kaden
Jackson
2024
Point Guard
Height:
6'0
145
Weight:
Evaluation:
Two things are consistent by 2 x ‘Top Prospect’ Kaden Jackson, one he can shoot it and shoots it at a high %, and number two he makes a lot of winning plays without the ball in his hands that lead to wins. Shot over 50% from the 3pt line as a Junior, takes on the challenge of guarding the best player on D, and competes at a high level. Listed right now as a PG, but more of a combo at the next level with his ability to knock down shots. Has time on his side and brings a college ready weapon to the table with his ability to knock down 3’s at a high %. Plays with a chip, wants the ball in his hands in key moments, and plays with confidence which indicates he is putting in work when no one is watching. Track this kid’s progress and keep him on your Radar, as I can see him gaining interest in the Live Periods and having a big Sr Season at Gateway Charter.

Avion
Jackson
2024
Combo Guard
Height:
6'4
175
Weight:
Evaluation:
Avion is ready to step into a key role this year at power house Atascocita. Scores it in a variety of ways, rebounds at a high level from the wing position, and when locked in is a scholarship level defender. All he needs to do is stay consistent for longer stretches on the Boards and Defense and his stock will rise and rise quick heading into the 23-24 HS Season. Too much offensive talent, athleticism and length to not gain interest in July Live Periods before heading back to AHS as a key Senior. Avion was at his best making plays off the bounce, has good shot mechanics when left open beyond the arc, but must continue to work on his 3pt shot when no one is watching to reach his highest potential level. What level will be 100% up to him as his ceiling is high, the stage is set for him to lead AHS to a lot of W’s, and when he realizes how much of an impact he could have on the glass and D with his talent, the rest will be history. Really high ceiling with room to grow, but time is on his side so keep a close eye on Avion and track his progress and he is no doubt a next level talent
