Ethan is a big 2 Guard to keep your eye on early in the Fall as his stock could rise and rise quickly. He looks more like a linebacker, but make no mistake he's no Football player, he's a hooper that can flat out shoot the ball. Big Body strong guard with size that won’t stand out in Select or 1 on 1 Showcases where everyone is trying to get there shots. But the game of basketball is 5 on 5, and if you evaluate Ethan in a team setting you will see this kid produces on both ends and is a college level talent. Possibly the highest % 3pt shooter at any UC Fall Camp. When run off the line he's a crafty scorer that creates space against more athletic players and finds ways to score. Not the most naturally athletic prospect on the court, but understands angles, has a high B-ball IQ, quick first step, and plays with extreme confidence. His physicality and the way he uses his body to keep defenders on his hip allows him to draw fouls or finish in the paint. Defensively, he competes hard and does a great job as a help defender by being in the right position, and out works taller forwards in the paint pushing them off their spots. Very intriguing 2 Guard that could be used in PnR situations at the next level with his versatility and size. Physical guard that plays bigger than his size and brings a college ready weapon as a 3pt shooter. Loved this kid and he will secure an Offer at some level when roster spots start to open and coaches start to look for the best available freshmen.
