Arkansas Camp Recap & Report

2026s & Tr's That Finished On 'Top' In AR

5'11 Combo Guard Kyleston Gill  |  Transfer Central Christian College 870-951-1695 Crafty Guard That Moves Well Without The Ball, Scores It at all 3 Levels And Wants The Ball In His Hands When Games Are On The Line- It's Been a Year Since Evaluating Ky and One Thing Hasn't Changed And That Is He Can Get You a Bucket & Plays With a Chip On His Shoulder.   We Talk About FIT- And It Goes Both Ways As I Feel Ky Would Excel Under A Coach That Challenges Him Daily To Play To His Maximum Potential & Allows Him Freedom To Make Plays Over Running Plays.  All 3 College Coaches On Staff Listed Kyleston as a Scholarship Level Combo And After AR Camp I Feel The Same Way

Projected Levels: NAIA / NCAA D2 (Open 5 Out Dribble Drive Offense Is a Great FIT)

5'11 PG Chase Baker |  2026 St. Thomas Episcopal 832-722-9911  Pure PG Who Plays To His Strengths, Can Run a Team, And Makes The Right Play Over the Highlight Play.  1st Team All-State Lead Guard Who Led His Team To The State Championship Game. Shoots The 3 Ball at a high % Which Keeps Defenses Honest And Opens Up Driving Lanes- Has Picked Up Some NAIA Offers In The Past Week But Hasn't Committed Yet And Will Be Worth a Close Look If You Need To Add Depth At The PG Position.  Chase's Best Is Yet To Come And Would be a Late Steal For NAIA's Looking For High Character, High IQ, High Academic Players To Complete Their 2026 Recruiting Class

Projected Levels: NAIA+

6'2 Shooting Guard Ja'Varius Thompson  | JC Soph SAU Tech 240-472-7735  The Best Shooter Hands Down At The AR Camp Was SAU Tech Soph Ja'Varius Thompson.  Has The Size, Shot Mechanics & Release That Translates To The Scholarship Levels.  Moves Well Without the Ball In His Hands, Stays Shot Ready And Shoots It With Confidence In Catch And Shoot Situations.  Programs That Space It and Shoot a Lot of 3's Need To Find Film On Ja'Varius- He Can Flat Out Shoot It And Brings Both Experience After 2 Years of JC Ball and a Weapon To Your Team as a Knock Down Shooter

Projected Levels: NAIA+ / NCAA D2 (Teams That Space The Floor and Shoot a Lot of 3's Need To Take a Close Look at SAU Tech Soph Ja'Varius Thompson)

6’4 Wing-SF Cooper Goodwin |  2026 Ruston HS (LA) 601-651-1611 Cooper Has the Size, Shot Mechanics, And Does a Great Job of Cutting To Open Spots Off The Ball And Knocking Down Shots at a high %.   He Has a High Basketball IQ and Understands How to Play And Didn't Back Down Physically In the Paint On D and On The Glass.  Tough Hard Hat 2 Guard That Played Hard and You Can Tell He Just Loves To Play.  Listed As a Sr But Has One More Year of HS Academically Due To a Transfer Ruling, Which Gives Him another Full Season To Grow His Game In All Facets. Was Referred By a Good Resource And Coop Didn't Disappoint- Stay Tuned As He Will Be a Sleeper Next Spring  Projected Levels: NCAA D3+ / NAIA

6’0 Point Guard Alexavier Goodwin | 2026 St. Louis Catholic (LA) 337-965-7529  Alexavier Plays With Great Pace, Was Listed By College Coaches On Staff As The Best Communicator At the PG Position That Stayed Engaged Throughout Every Segment of the Camp.  College Ready Leader That Has Good Size For a PG, Competes On The Defensive End And Is At His Best Finishing Plays In The Paint or Finding The Open Man.  When He's In Attack Mode He Looked Like a Whole Different Player.  Solid Late Pickup And 4 Year System Player That Will Continue To Get Better And Has a High Ceiling Moving Forward.  Loved The Way He Attacked The Day And Is Worth a Closer Look Projected Levels: NCAA D3+ / NAIA

6’1 Combo Guard Budi Hamouda  |  2026 Grand River Academy (OH)  440-417-5925  The Guard With The Biggest Upside In The Camp Was Budi-  High IQ Guard That Has a Great Feel for the Game, Is Physically Strong And Uses Angles And His Body Well To Finish Through Contact In The Paint.  If You Can Take International Players And Need Someone That Has The Experience And Talent To Compete For Playing Time In Year One, Take a Close Look At Budi.  Capable of Knocking Down The 3pt Shot, But is at his Best Attacking Off The Bounce And Creating Shots For Either Himself or Teammates.  Showed Excellent Court Vision, Plays Hard & Competes On The Defensive End as Well. Late Steal For NAIA & NCAA D2 Programs That Play a 4 Out  1 In Motion & Set a Lot of Ball Screens- Budi Excels In PnR Action With His Ability To Shoot, Pass or Drive It.

Projected Levels:  NAIA+ / NCAA D2

6’5 Small Forward Zion Harper |  Transfer North American U 832-508-5874 It's Been a Few Years Since I've Seen Big Zion, And One Thing Hasn't Changed And That Is His 'Will' To Win And How He Soaked Up Coaching Throughout The Day.  He Must Get Himself Back Into Playing Shape After Sitting Out This Past Season, But He's Only One Year Removed From Leading the Region II JC League In RPG- He Still Mixes It Up Inside,  Has Improved His Face Up Game Out of the HP, And Was Active On The Glass Pursuing Boards And Getting Second Shot Opportunities In The Game Portion of the Camp.  For Zion It's All About FIT- HC Structured Offensive Systems With High-Low Action That Play a Sagging Man To Man HC D Should Take Another Look at Zion's Situation.

Projected Level:  NAIA (Needs The Right FIT- Half Court High Low Offense and Man To Man Pack Line D Fits Zion's Game)

6'1  Combo Guard Daryl Nolan  |  2026 Spring HS 832-980-9186 Tough 2-Way Player That Was The Most Consistent On Ball Defender In The Camp- Daryl Does a Great Job of Pressuring The Opposing Guard Without Giving Up Straight Line Drives.  Uncommon Camps Are Designed To Identify Strengths And He Is a College Ready Defender That Is at His Best When The Game Speeds Up.  Won His Way Into The Top Prospect Game By Leading His Team To The Defensive Stops Title Setting The Tone For The D And Showcasing He's a College Ready Defender. Could Benefit From Going The JC Route And Growing His Overall Offensive Game But Competes Hard, Is Coachable, And Makes a Team Tougher On the Defensive End.

Projected Levels: D3-D2 JUCO / NCAA D3+ (Great Fit In a Pressing Up Tempo System)

6'4 Playmaker DeJuan Coleman  |  2026 North Webster HS (LA) 318-578-4070 DeJuan Just Has That Look Of a College Level Wing Whose Best Ball Is Still In Front Of Him.  Strong Physical Wing That Can Play Inside And Out, Guards The 1-4 Positions And Is Active On The Glass From The Guard Position.  He's a Consistent Perimeter Shot Away From Being a Steal, But The Upside, Potential And Physical Talent Is There To Take a Chance On This Late In The Game.  What Stood Out The Most Outside Of Things You Can't Teach Is How Engaged He Was Throughout And How He Got Better And Better As the Camp Got Tougher and Tougher. Intriguing Versatile Inside-Out Player Worth Researching  Projected Levels: D2 JUCO / NAIA
