Not Sure What Position Ricky Truly Is at the Next Level, But I’m Sure That He Is a College Level Recruit With 2 Years To Continue To Grow His Game. He's Grown a Few Inches Since Last Spring When I First Evaluated Him at the CTX Camp. Had a Guards Skill Set at 6'6, Now He's Pushing 6'8 With The Same Ability To Make Plays Out of the High Post, Knocks Down Shots at a High % In Pick N Pop Action And Is Set To Have a Breakthrough Junior Year And Will Continue To Rise in The Ranks in the Class of 2027. Solid Stretch 4 with a High Basketball IQ, Mixes It Up In The Paint, And Does a Good Job Pursuing Boards Especially On the Offensive End Which Will Not Go Unnoticed In The Spring. Talented 2027 That Competes On Both Ends, And Has The Skill Set at 6'8 To Be a True 4 at the Next Level Which Will Start To Draw Interest From The Scholarship Levels
Projected Levels: NAIA+ / NCAA D2

Personal Statement:
Dear Coaches,
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a college basketball program while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. My academic and athletic goals align: I’m passionate about science, chemistry, and helping others, and I thrive in competitive environments that push me to grow both on the court and in the classroom.
Why I’d be a valuable addition to your program:
Athletic and leadership traits: I bring a strong work ethic, competitive resilience, and a team-first mentality. I’ve learned through basketball that communication, discipline, and trust are the foundation of consistent performance.
Character and culture fit: Integrity, respect, and sportsmanship guide my actions in practice, in games, and in everyday interactions. I’m committed to supporting teammates, leading by example, and handling setbacks with a constructive mindset.
Academic discipline: I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA and am adept at balancing rigorous coursework with a demanding practice and competition schedule. I’m highly organized and time-efficient, prioritizing both academic and athletic excellence.
Alignment with your program: I’m drawn to programs that emphasize competitive excellence, character development, and scholarly achievement. I’m confident I can contribute to a culture that values hard work, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What I bring to the table beyond statistics:
Team-first attitude: I understand the importance of chemistry and trust in a successful roster.
Mental toughness: I stay focused during high-pressure moments and continuously seek ways to improve.
Long-term potential: I’m pursuing biology with a passion for learning, research, and applying science to real-world challenges—an asset for both on-court decision-making and study hall collaboration.
I would be grateful for the chance to discuss how I could fit within your program, including potential scholarship opportunities, academic support resources, and what you look for in a recruit. I’m eager to contribute to your team’s goals and to grow alongside my future teammates.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of speaking with you.
