Basketball has been a part of my life since I was very small. One of my earliest memories is getting a Little Tykes basketball hoop when I was about 3 years old and shooting hoops in my living room.Early on, I fell in love with the game! There was a time when I carried my basketball everywhere I went. It was with me at the dinner table, in the car, and even in my bed to go to sleep. I come from a very athletic family, so I've been told that it is deep within my DNA. My father was a 6'9" collegiate player for Huston-Tillotson College in the late 80's. My mom played both basketball and did collegiate cheer for The University of the Incarnate Word in the 90's. My eldest sister played volleyball for Texas Lutheran University in 2014, while my youngest sister did collegiate cheer at Northwest Vista. My parents always made sure that while competing, we were having fun with our sport. To me that was "key". We play because we love it! The desire I have to continue a legacy and do what I enjoy at the collegiate level is massive. I know that all I need is one coach, one team to believe in me and give that once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute to a collegiate team.

Currently, I am 6'4' (and growing) Stretch 4 who can play even bigger in the paint. I am a big defender and can take care of the inside with rebounding and put backs. I am able to shoot the 3 at a high percentage and I am quick in pick and pop situations. I have been told that I am very coachable and a good leader for my teammates.. I know that every year I strive to keep improving my game by doing the extra work outside of season practices. I know I can be one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

My goal is to work hard on and off the court and excel in the classroom. There should be life and a career plan for after basketball and my plan is to receive either a Kinesiology or Sports Media degree. Both careers in Personal training and Sports reporting will keep me involved with the sport I love most and around the good energy that athletes project. I am open to all college options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my friends, community, and make my parents proud.
