There Were Several Scholarship Level Standouts In Attendance But Let’s Start By Recognizing The Top Players Competing In This Year’s Championship Game
Championship Game Recap Team #3 vs Team #5
Here Are Some of The Top Performers From Teams That Competed For The Title
Sr Showcase Championship Team Standouts
6’4 Combo Guard Devon Vienneau | 2026 Onalaska HS 713-922-3988 Another Player That Has Elevated His Game In Every Facet Since The Fall Camp Was Devon Vienneau- He Has That Look of a D1 Level Guard, And Is Coming Off a Stellar Career And Scholarship Level Sr Season Earning All-Region, District Offensive MVP & 1st Team All-State For The 2nd Year In a Row. Devon Is Bigger, Stronger & Playing at a High Level Right Now Heading Into The April Madness When Players of His Caliber Always Seem To Be Sought After By Scholarship Level Programs. Don’t Wait Until Then To Do Your Research- This Kid is a No Brainer And If He Goes The JC Route He Will Play His Way Into D1 Level Options. Projected Levels: D1 JUCO / NCAA D2+
6’7 Forward Yanni Ikibukle | 2026 Houston Randle HS 832-508-5874 I’ve Been Able To Evaluate Yanni In Four Camps, And He’s Four for Four at Finishing On ‘Top’ Which Takes College Level Toughness And Talent- Fast Forward To Last Weeks Sr Showcase And He Was a Consistent Force On The Glass And Showcased That His Offensive Game Has Grown As Well. Another 2026 That Had a Breakthrough Sr Season Earning All-State, All-Region After Averaging a Double Double In District To Lead Randle To The Regional Championship Game Falling Just Short of a State Tourney Appearance. Yanni Has a College Ready Body And Can Play Inside-Out And Is an Elite Defender That Does a Great Job In Help Defense Situations at Protecting The Paint Projected Levels: D1 JUCO / LM D1
6’4 2 Guard Elijah Smothers | 2026 Lubbock Monterey 806-252-2620 Elijah Reminds Me Of Two UC Recruits In the 2025 Class Brendan Ballard & Hunter Nelms That Both Secured Offers at Ranked NCAA D2 Programs (WTAMU & Henderson State) After The 2025 RCS Sports Sr Showcase- He Brings That Same Mindset, Toughness And Work Ethic To The Floor And His Best Ball Is Still In Front of Him. 6 '4 Shooting Guard That Is Really Good at Moving Without the Ball, Has a Quick Release In Catch And Shoot Situations & Consistently Competes at a High Level and Did What He Has Done In Four UC Exposure Camps- Made Winning Plays And Left On "Top" In Houston Last Weekend- This Time It Was Leading His Team To The 2026 RCS Sports Sr Showcase Title. Tough 2-Way Player That I Project Will Commit To a Top Ranked NAIA or D2 Level Program In April Projected Levels: NAIA / NCAA D2
5’9 Point Guard Tywan Collins Jr | 2026 Cy Creek HS 346-273-3404 Tywan was Probably the Most Consistent PG In The Building Throughout The Event Winning Over Coaches On Staff And Leading His Team To The Title. He Sets The Tone for the Defense Every Time He Steps On The Court & Has Excellent Court Vision When Getting In the Paint Creating Wide Open Shots for His Teammates. I Thought He Was One of the Best if Not The Best Pass 1st PG In The Showcase. Capable Shooter That Keeps The Defense Honest, And Consistent On The Defensive End With His Effort And Ball Pressure. Defensive POY in CFISD District And College Ready Leader That Will Be a Late Steal For Programs That Need To Recruit ‘TOUGHER’ Players In 2026 Projected Levels: D2/D1 JUCO / NAIA+ (Up Tempo Systems Are a Great FIT)
Sr Showcase Runner-Up Standouts
6’4 Wing-SF Marley Thibodeaux | 2026 Ridge Point HS Marley is an Active Wing That Has The Length and Versatility To Guard The 1-4 Spots, Is Active On The Glass & Plays With Great Energy That Stood Out Throughout The Event Leading Up To The Championship Game. Typical College Level Prospect Simply Caught In a Numbers Game In a Region Like Houston That Has So Much Talent That Can Get Overlooked. He Took Advantage of the Day And Made a Lot of Winning Plays On Both Ends To Help His Team Get To The Championship Game. Intriguing Prospect That Could Benefit From Going the JC Route And Grow His Overall Perimeter Game- His Motor is High and His Best Ball Is Still In Front of Him Projected Levels: D2 JUCO / NAIA
6’3 2 Guard Shai Francis | 2026 Houston Second Baptist Can You Say ‘D1 ALERT’ Not Sure What Shai’s Story Is But I’m Sure About His Ability To Flat Out Play- 3 Level Scorer That Has D1 Level Athleticism And Strength To Go Along With A Good Motor. If You Haven’t Seen Shai Play, Get Some Game Film Quick And Do Your Research as He’s a Steal And Not One You Should Wait To Start Recruiting. I Never Know What These Kid’s True Recruitment Is But What I Do Know Is Region 14 JUCO’s, NCAA D2+ or LM D1 Programs Should Be Actively Recruiting Shai As He is for Real Projected Levels: Top 25 JUCO / LM D1
6’1 Point Guard JaKendrick Clevenger | 2026 Xavier Academy Jakendrick Lives in the Paint and Makes The Right Play When Drawing Help Which Seemed Like 75% of the Games He Played In Including the Championship Game- Has Good Size at the PG Position And Can See Over The Top of the Defense When Attacking Downhill To Create Shots for his Teammates or Finish at the Rim. Has the Length and Versatility To Guard The 1-3 Spots on D and Had a Very Good Showing In The SIB Showcase Standing Out To Coaches On Staff. Solid Lead Guard with a High Basketball IQ That Plays with Pace And Makes Everyone Around Him Better With His Ability To Draw Help And Get Teammates Open Shots In Position To Score. Projected Levels: NCAA D3+ / NAIA
RCS Sports Sr Showcase Best of the Rest
6’8 Small Forward Daniel Briscoe | 2026 Belton HS 254-466-1217 Daniel is a legit 6’8, Shoots over 40% from Beyond the Arc & Battles Hard in the Paint for Position and Is Active On The Glass. Was one of the ‘9’ Players on the Team That Won The Sr Showcase Title And had another Steady Showing As He Knocked Down Timely 3’s, Altered Shots In The Paint & Was Active On the Glass. Skilled Big Man That Will Add Depth To Your Front Court- Has a High Ceiling And Competes On Both Ends. Late Steal For JUCO’s / NCAA D2 Programs Looking For Best Available Bigs In April Projected Levels: D1 JUCO / NCAA D2
6’6 Stretch 4 Joshua Lord | 2026 St. Thomas Episcopal Joshua is a Versatile Inside-Out 4 Man Who Can Play With His Back to the Basket or Make Plays out of the High Post. Had a Great Showing From Start to Finish Friday Showcasing The Ability To Score It In A Variety of Ways, Consistently Crashed the Glass & Runs the Floor at 6 '6 Like a Guard Finishing Plays In Transition. Really Intriguing Prospect That Can Play and Guard Multiple Positions At the Next Level. Great FIT in Programs That Set a Lot of Trail Ball Screens And Run High-Low Action In the Half Court. Projected Levels: NAIA / NCAA D2
6'7 Wing-Stretch 4 Bryant Herring | 2026 Austin Prep 512-466-9182 Bryant Is Flying Under The Radar But Continues To Show Up And Showcase He’s a Scholarship Level Talent That Can Make The Transition To The 3 In College With His Skill Set, 3pt Shot & Ability To Take Forwards Off The Bounce And Make Plays. Has The Talent, Size And Skill Set That Translate To the Higher Levels And Had Another Solid Showing In The SIB Sr Showcase Out Playing Dozens of Scholarship Level Players In Attendance. Projected Levels: D1 JUCO / NCAA D2
6’6 Wing-SF Kadyn Barnes | 2026 Booker T Washington Kadyn has a Motor That Never Stops, Makes a Lot of Winning Plays Without the Ball In His Hands, And Brings His Hard Hat To the Court. One of those Old School Players That Doesn’t Mind Mixing It Up, Gets 50/50 Balls And On Top of that He Has Scholarship Level Talent & Toughness That You Can’t Fake. It’s Tough In These Types Of Atmospheres To Truly Showcase Your ‘Will’ To Win But Kaydn Did Just That And Did It Every Single Possession In All 3 Games. I’m a Sucker For Players That Impact Games Without Knocking Down a Shot and Kaydn Is One of those Kids. Don’t Get Me Wrong He’s Talented And Can Put Points On The Board, but His Ticket That Will Lead To Full Rides In April Is His ‘Mentality’ And How Hard He Plays. Projected Levels: D1 JUCO / NCAA D2+
6’1 PG Jacob Garcia | 2026 El Paso Chapin 915-262-6613 Scholarship Level Point Guard Flying Under The Radar Playing In An Under Recruited West TX Region. He’s Done What Players Must Do That Play In Smaller Basketball Markets and That’s Dominate- 3 Time All-City, District MVP, 2 Regional Tournament Appearances, Over 1200 Career Points & 500 Assists- But Like Any Coach In College You’d Like To Evaluate Jacob vs Higher Level Talent And He Made The Most of the Opportunity To Play On Team UC In the Showcase. Plays With Great Pace, Can Score It in a Variety of Ways and Makes the Right Play Over the Highlight Play. The Other Guard In The Backcourt on the Team That Took Home The Title- Played Solid All Showcase And Out Played Several Guards Getting Scholarship Level Interest To Lead His Team To The Championship. Sold Me… Projected Levels: Top Ranked NCAA D3+ / NAIA
6’4 Playmaker Adam McIntyre | 2026 Houston Lamar Possibly The Best Playmaker and One of the Most Athletic Players In The Showcase Was Adam from Houston Lamar. He Just Finds Ways To Score, Has D1 Level Athleticism, And Does A Great Job Of Using His Body When He Gets In The Paint To Shield Off Defenders And Finish Plays or Draw Fouls. Seemed Like He Lived In The Paint Throughout The Showcase & Is At His Best Getting Downhill In Both The HC And In Transition. Finished Several Plays Above The Rim When The Game Sped Up, Stays In Attack Mode & Can Create His Own Shot- Would Be A Great Fit In An Open Offense That Pushes It In Transition And Runs a lot of Dribble Drive Action In The Half Court. Projected Levels: D2-D1 JUCO / NAIA
6’4 2 Guard Grayson Eichinger | 2026 Colleyville Heritage 817-789-7956 Grayson Brings a Weapon To The Floor Every Time He Steps on the Court And that is His Ability To Knock Down 3pt Shots at a High %. Has the Size To Shoot Over The Top of the Defense, Deceptive Athlete That Finishes Above The Rim In Transition, and Understands How To Play Off the Ball To Get To His Spots And Knock Down Shots. Big Time Shooter With The Size And Release That Translate To The Scholarship Levels. Coming off a Great HS Career At Colleyville Heritage- He Showed Why He Was One of the Top 2 Guards In The District The Past Two Years At the Sr Showcase By Knocking Down Big Shots, Sprinting His Lane, And Competing On Defense. Another One of the Standouts Whose Consistent Play On Both Ends Helped His Team Take Home the 2026 Title. Projected Levels: Ranked NCAA D3+ / NAIA
6’3 Playmaker Dakari Bolton | 2026 Houston Yates Dakari Can Score It at All 3 Levels, Puts Points On The Board In Bunches, An Is Efficient. Some Players In These Types Of Atmospheres Need To Take 20 Shots To Get 20 Points, But Not Dakari- He Gets His Points In The Flow of the Offense, Plays With Great Pace & Doesn’t Need To Force Shots To Get You Buckets. This Kid Has a High Ceiling And Has An Offensive Skill Set And Feel for the Game That Won’t Be Overlooked For Long. Had a Great Showing In the Showcase And Left An Impression On Coaches On Staff and On Site Evaluating Some Of The Top Unsigned Talent In The State of Texas. Do Some Research On Dakari- He’s a Sleeper That Is Flying Under The Radar And Will Be a Late Steal In April For a Program Looking For Best Available Seniors! . Projected Levels: D2 JUCO / NAIA
