Evaluation:

Pick N Pop Stretch 4 who is not even 16 yet and has so much room to Grow, and has the right approach to improving and time on his side. Brendan is a true face up SF, who is capable of posting up and playing with with his back to the basket as well. Good hands and soft touch in the paint, and when he flashes to the HP he has the ability to shoot, pass or drive it out of the High Post. Active Rebounder, and battles hard in the paint for position on both ends of the court. Plays with energy, has a high ceiling, and being only 16 I expect his Game to Grow! One to get on your Radar in the Spring, and track his progress as I project Brendan to have a breakthrough Season and put up big numbers this Year.

Evaluation:

Luke is an old school, hard hat, bring your lunch pail to work type of player. Plays bigger than 6 '5 when he is in the paint, has a motor that never stops, and shoots the 3 like a 2 Guard. Doesn’t have a true Position, which will limit his Recruitment at the higher levels, but makes too many Winning Plays on both Offense and Defense to not add to your 2025s to Watch List. Active on the Glass both from the HP Area or when he’s in the Paint. After finishing on ‘Top’ in LA then again at the DFW Camp, he has sold me that he is a next Level Prospect to track heading into the Select Season!

Evaluation:

One of the Surprises for me was Small School Playmaker Kason Brown. Listed at 6’4 but looks more like 6’6 with his length and athleticism. Deceptive Athlete that made some impressive plays attacking the basket, including dunking over 2 forwards with Authority in the 3 on 3 Portion of the Camp. Kason has a High Basketball IQ, High Motor & High Ceiling heading into his Sr Season. Scholarship Level Wing who would be drawing heavy interest at the D2 Level If he played in a bigger Bball Market or Select Ball last Summer. He plans on Playing this Summer so get him on your list of Recruits to Watch. He is Already a College Level Playmaker with Plenty Of Time To Grow his Game and Increase his Level of Recruitment.

Crafty Combo Guard who scores it at all 3 levels. Moves well without the ball, gets to his spots and knocks down over 45% of his 3pt shots! Scholarship Level Shooter with the ability to play some lead guard as well. High IQ College Level Combo flying under the radar due to playing at a smaller private school. Add him to your list of 2025s to track next year as he is set to have a big Senior Season.

Evaluation:

High IQ skilled PG who has the size and shot to play the 2 Guard, and the skill set and court vision to be a PG. Being the best player at a smaller school, he most likely will play the PG Position at Holy Cross but he's at his best off the ball. Regardless of Position, Aaron plays with great pace, scores it at all 3 levels, and has a high Basketball IQ. Not a lot of flash just makes plays, makes the right decision, and shoots it at a high %. Deceptive Athlete that could put up big numbers this Year and start to gain Genuine Interest in the Spring by doing so.

Super Quick in the open court, Deceptive Athlete, and has the ability to create space off the bounce to get his shot off vs bigger opponents. Although he plays the PG in High School, he is more of a Combo at the College Level with his ability to score it at all 3 Levels. What stood out the most at the AR Camp was not only his Skill but his 'Will' to Win. He LED his team to the Defensive Stops Title and the Winning Ways Challenge which is all about Mindset. The tougher it got, the tougher he got! Stays in Attack Mode while staying in control, and is a 2-Way Player that is flying under the Radar due to playing at a smaller School. That won't be the case for long, when Select Ball starts and Coaches get a look at this kid his Recruitment will pick up and his stock will rise.

2026 Having a Breakthrough Season at Cibolo Steele! I've watched his Game Grow over the past year, from a 3pt specialist a year ago, to a 6’4 2 Guard who can now make plays off the bounce, Rebounds it at a high Level (7.4 RPG) and has put in the work to Defend a 2 Guard not just play the 2 on Offense. Won the Skills Challenge to set the tone at the Houston Camp, which arguably had the most talent of any Fall Camp. Continued to get the Coaches attention with his ability to shoot the ball at 6'4 and Activity on the Glass. Moves well without the Ball in his hands, gets to his spots, and knocks down shots. D2's and LM's should get him on your Radar this Summer as I project in 2 Years that he has Offers at both levels.

Evaluation:

Paul is a crafty Combo Guard who can score it at all 3 Levels. Deceptive Athlete who is a very good on ball defender, and plays with tremendous effort that stands out when he steps on the Court. Putting up big Numbers heading into the Spring and that trend will continue as he just has a knack for scoring. Has a good feel for the Game, High Basketball IQ and is court saavy so understands how to get to his spots and makes the right plays with the ball in his hands. Early Lead on a Combo Guard in the Class of 2026 with plenty of time to Grow his Game and increase his Recruitment. He is heading into the right Direction Avg. 22 ppg and 4 apg in the Fall making big shots in big moments.

Super Soph who is having a breakthrough Season for one of the top 6A Teams in Central Texas. Tough On Ball Defender and Crafty Offensive Player who is really good in catch and shoot situations. Moves well without the Ball in his hands, shoots it at a high % and makes it tough on opposing guards by applying full court ball pressure without getting beat off the Dribble! With 2 Years to Grow his Game, the Motor and the Mindset it takes to play beyond HS, he will be one to Watch this Summer in the Class of 2026.

Projected Level of Play: Top 25 NAIA / NCAA D2 (Must Continue to Grow His Game but has Scholarship Level Potential with 2 years to Go)

Jak

2025

Combo Guard

hudl.png
twitter-x5265.logowik.png

Evaluation:

Possibly the best shooter I've Evaluated at a 2023 Camp. There are some players that have the 'IT' factor and Jak has it. Plays with tremendous confidence, makes teams pay when they help off him, and if they run him off the line he is more then capable of making plays off the bounce. His college ready strength is his ability to put the ball in the hole, but he brings more to the Court than knocking down open 3's. Moves extremely well without the ball, gets to his Spots, and is always shot ready with a quick release so makes help defenders pay when they relax or lose him. Didn't play Select Ball, so you have to do some Research. But trust me this kid is worth a hard look, and a early lead on a 2025 who is flying under the Radar.

Combo Guard

Weight:

hudl.png
twitter-x5265.logowik.png

Evaluation:

Has good size for a Combo Guard, does a really good job in transition at getting downhill and making plays off the bounce or finishing in the paint. Active off ball defender who anticipates well and gets his hands on balls in the passing lanes that leads to steals/deflections that leads to fast break opportunities for his team. Defensively, plays with good energy in their press and is a deceptive athlete who moves well laterally and has the ability to pressure the ball handler. The Size, tools, and talent are there to become a very good 2-Way Player heading into his Sr Season.
