One of 2 players at the camp that his team to ‘Wins’ 3 of the 5 Segments falling a few buckets short from leading his team to the ‘Top Prospect’ LA Title. Nonetheless, he won the day and won over the college coaches on staff with his energy, effort, and competitive spirit every time he stepped on the court. More of a combo at the next level than a true PG, but will play his way onto College Boards in the Spring after putting up big numbers in the Fall leading his team to a 15-2 Start. I always Recruited and Wanted 2 or 3 Karson Mabou Type Players on my Championship Teams at the D3/NAIA Levels.

In Today’s World of Recruiting a Vast Majority of Players Don’t Truly Embrace The Team First Mentality, But Then You Come Across a Player Like Tae! In the First 2 Hours of the Houston Camp, Tae Not Only Looked the Part but he Was the Hardest Worker in the Gym and Soaked Up Coaching In Every Single Drill and Game Portion. Has a High Motor, Size You Can’t Teach (6’6) and The Work Ethic It Takes To Make the Transition from Elite Varsity Level Player to College Level Recruit. High Ceiling, High Character Forward That Would be a Great Addition for Programs Looking To Improve Their Culture Both on and Off the Court.

Martinez

At 6’3 Luke is a knock down 3pt shooter w/ size, and plays with a chip on his shoulder. Moves well without the ball and moves with purpose to get to his spots. Always shot ready, has a quick release and does what he does best. If you shoot a lot of 3’s, value toughness, then take a closer look at Luke as the Season Progresses. He’s the type of player that if he doesn’t take one shot when he is on the floor, he is a threat that opens up driving lanes for playmakers on Atascocita’s Team. Tough hard nosed 2 Guard who does the little things that may not show up on a stat sheet, but they are big when it comes to making plays that lead to Wins.

Carmelo

Martinez

Melo is a PG that Excels at Playmaking off the Bounce and Rebounding the Ball from the Guard Position. Very Active on the Glass and plays bigger than his size when battling for position in the Paint that stands
out in his favor on Game Films. Offensively is at his best making Plays off the Bounce and creating shots for himself or finding the open man. Has good court savvy and makes the right play over the highlight play. Pure Pass 1st PG that does a great job of making others around him better.

Matthews

Donovan displayed tremendous footwork after the catch and the ability to go both right and left effectively down low made him virtually unstoppable against single coverage. Add the fact that he seals hard inside to be a force on the glass and you have a true big man that doesn’t think he's a wing. Must have the right system after HS to excel, but if you slow it down and play tough physical defense and pound it down low with high low action or sets then Donovan must be added to your list of Recruits to research. Is Avg. 19 ppg and 12 rpg in a very tough Houston District since the Break.

McAfee III

A prospect with a tremendous amount of growth ahead of him still which makes him a great pick up for a JC looking for size w/ upside. Right now, still raw offensively but plays with tremendous energy, very active on the glass, and has great instincts as a help defender altering shots in the paint or getting hands on balls.
Always in the right place for help side defense, hedges hard on ball screens, and is a great defensive
rebounder. Offensively, he needs 2 years at a JC to continue to improve his overall offensive skill set but soaks up coaching and will improve if given the opportunity. Currently, he sets very hard screens and rolls to the basket with a purpose and demands the ball inside. I would love to see this kid in 2 years with his motor and mindset, as he could end up with NCAA D2 Offers after 2 years of JC ball.

Shawn Is an Intriguing Big Man with a Big Upside that has a College Ready Body and Physical Tools You Can't Teach. Really Good Off Ball Defender and Elite Rebounder That Does a Good Job of Finishing Plays in at the Rim in PnR Action. In the Open Court at 6'6 he Sprints the Floor like a Wing and Gets Easy Baskets by Out Running Bigger Slower Forwards. Really Like this Kid's Potential and His Best Ball is Still in Front of him. Mcdonald

Josiah is a crafty offensive player who knows how to get to his spots, gets the opposing defender on his hip to get off shots, and showed the ability to score it at all 3 levels. Excels in the open court playing downhill, has a college ready body and does a good job of finishing in traffic, and has a very good mid-range game on the Offensive end. No question, he is a scholarship level scorer and I loved how he handled instruction under duress throughout the camp, now just take what you learned and take your game to the next level.

6’0 Point Guard Yashi McKenzie| 2023 TMI (SAU Tech Transfer w/ 3 Years Left) Was A State Champion In HS, MVP of State Tournament & Had a Great Freshmen Season at SAU Tech Avg. 16ppg, 7apg, 5rpg. Haven’t seen Yashi in a Year, and one thing remains the same he is a ‘Winner’! Made The Game Winning Basket in Overtime of the Championship Game of the RCS Showcase after Securing an Offensive Rebound Over Forwards Scoring A Putback to Seal The Win. Really Liked Solomon’s Upside, Effort and Ability to Score it in a Variety of Ways. College Level Shooting Guard Caught in a Numbers Game in a big Basketball Market like Houston. If You Shoot a lot of 3’s and Still Recruiting the Class of 2025 Solomon is Worth a Close Look.

Mii

Physical Playmaker who Can Guard the 2-4 Spots, Finishes Through Traffic In the Paint, and Does a Great Job Of Pursuing Rebounds On Both Ends of the Court & is a Deceptive Athlete. Nekabari has a College Ready Body and is too Physically Strong in the Paint for Guards to handle him, and took bigger forwards off the bounce when he was on the Perimeter. Really good at finishing plays in Transition and Elite Level Rebounder that should secure an Offer sooner than later. Too strong, too tough, and too much upside not to end up on a College Roster.
